If you are serious about online business then investing in some fast, reliable and secure hosting is essential. Fast hosting is now a requirement by Google so you won't be ranking high without it. It's also proven to increase conversions and user engagement. WP Engine is the industry standard in amazing hosting.
Hostgator is the cheaper option for hosting. It is something that I started out with and continue to use for some of my small niche sites. If you are just starting out then this is the perfect solution and is very affordable.
An email responder is essential for any business in order to build a list of prospects and keep in contact with them. Aweber is very affordable and recommended for all levels of experience. Click here for a Free Trial.
Email Lead Captcha Popup
This is by far one of the best lead-generation plugins for WordPress. It allows you to create multiple optin types: WordPress popups, floating footer bar, slide-ins, with more added all the time. The exit-intent technology is one of a kind that you will not find in any other plugin. In short, this is basically the best WordPress plugin for lead-generation and customer acquisition and one which our businesses all use.
Lead Generation/Squeeze Pages
The industry standard for email capture/squeeze pages/lead generation is a beautifully created Leadpages. It makes squeeze pages simple, and effective. This is another essential tool that should go in any business owners toolbox. Check out our Leadpages review HERE.
I use Zendesk because it's one of the best support desks around. It's easy to use, well known for when you decide to outsource your support, and also very affordable.
If you need to register a domain name then Namecheap is the cheapest and easy to use. This is where I keep all my domains and the service is excellent.
If you use a Mac, then Screenflow is the perfect Screen capture and Editing software. Not only can you capture anything on your screen, but you can easily create professional looking sales videos or edit your own blog videos.
If you use a PC, then Camtasia is widely regarded as the best solution that is very similar to Screenflow. Although I haven't personally used it myself, from talking to colleagues and friends that use it, it's definitely one of the best due to it's price and usability.
Depending on your business and requirements will depend on what outsourcing provider you prefer. I personally use a combination of these sites below and often put up ads on all 3 and then select the best candidate. I recommend signing up to all 3 and then when you have requirement, put up the same job across each of them and then see for yourself the difference in candidates you receive.
From my experience Freelancer tends to be a bit more expensive but the quality is better.
Odesk is a simple and easy to use service. You have the ability to screen capture your contractors to monitor their work. I usually prefer to hire on a project basis rather than hourly.
Elance generally provides a higher quality of contractor but the prices are a bit more. Would recommend this for writing or high level projects.
This is the professional solution for managing your products and services. You have plenty of features to manage such things as affiliates, and upsells/downsells. Nanacast makes running an online business easy to manage and is definitely a resource you should look at including in your business.
